这是一部跨越年代的爱情故事，灵感来源于宇多田光的两首知名金曲《First Love》(1999) 和《初恋》(2018)。两个少年在90年代末第一次坠入爱河；二十年后，一位即将订婚，而另一位则已离婚，与初涉情网的十几岁的儿子一起生活。。Against the backdrop of New York and New Orleans, Elliott, Leanne and Jermaine question their ability to dream amidst a crumbling economic climate.
